PPITD have a full service for Cable replacing, Cable recovering/Fixing and cable rejuvenation.
Based on evaluation of industry cables, PPITD will offer one of the methods for recovering and/or extending lifetime of cables or at the max replacing the cables that are already dead cables.
PPITD helps industries proactively address their underground networks and exceed reliability goals. PPITD proprietary CIC technology rejuvenates underground cables quickly and safely, returning them to Close to the new brand cables and in some cases even better than brand new cables.
Cable recovery process consists of:
1- Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR) testing to evaluate your system, locating junctions, finding the length of cables
2- Tang Delta Test to check the quality of cable and preventing rejuvenating while there is electrical tree in the cable
3- PPITD evaluate and calculate the fluid pressure, density and material is required for rejuvenating cables of industries.
4- PPITD works with two famous methods as Sustained medium Pressure Cable Rejuvenation (SMPCR) and Unsustained Low Pressure Cable Rejuvenation (ULPCR).
Sustained medium Pressure Cable Rejuvenation (SMPCR)
Sustained medium pressure cable rejuvenation method is based on keeping cable under 10 bars pressure from both sides for 24 hours and injecting CIC 18 or CIC 21 liquid material. For this method, cables shall be de-energized.
Cablecure CIC 18 and CIC 21 are of the injection fluid that is Designed to provide additional benefits to injected cable such as:
Voltage stabilizers
Stress reduction technology
Partial discharge suppression
UV protection, including ultraviolet absorbers and hindered amine light stabilizers
Antioxidants
Chain entanglement additives, which increase the efficacy and longevity of the rejuvenation process
Unstained Low Pressure Cable Rejuvenation (ULPCR).
Un-sustained Low pressure cable rejuvenation method is based on keeping cable under 2 bars pressure from one side sides for 7 to 10 days and injecting CIC 7. For this method, is no need that cables shall be de-energized and can be used while cable is live.

New R and D about Cable recovering and cable rejuvenation
PPITD R and D team now are working on methods to recover cables with electrical tree defects that are named dead cables.
The team consists of chemical, mechanical and electrical professors from different countries and is working hard to make electrical engineers dreams true and fix faulted cables or recovering dead cables.
The method is based on injecting a liquid material to the cable instead of cutting the cable and making junctions when a fault happens in a cable.
This method now is under laboratory test and has reach preliminary success and will be published when it reached to industrial success.
Distributors and agencies
PPITD accept qualified companies are interested in rejuvenation of cables and give these companies exclusive and/or nonexclusive rights to use rejuvenation fluids and injections tools of rejuvenation process.
There is a license fees from 25000 USD to 250 000 USD as a 10 years licenses fees of rejuvenation agencies fees that depend on how much big the distributor/agent ask for using the material and equipment’s.
Agents will need to have training for their crews and after getting required certificates, the agents /distributors will be qualified to do rejuvenation.
